Can camping gas be carried across EU borders?

I am travelling across Europe by car later in the summer and planning to camp. We already have a small gas camping stove we were hoping to take but cannot find any information about border control restrictions. We are planning to travel through France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Does anybody know if there are restrictions and if so, what they are?
