Cheap flights in Europe?

My friend and I are traveling to Europe this summer, and we need 2 flights within Europe (London-Rome, Rome-Madrid). I've tried Easyjet, Ryanair and germanwings, but I'm trying to find a reliable, cheaper airline. Does anyone have any leads? I would really appreciate some feedback!
