Dog with coat problems?

I have a Shar-Pei/Shepard mix and around early summer late spring she begins to molt. She gets this from the shar-pei skin and coat she has inherited. But if feel so bad for her cause she looks so itchy and miserable not just that but her fur loss is killing my carpet. Ive tried everything, she has pet head itchy flaky skin shampoo and it doesnt really do anything, if anything she has itched more. So lately ive been using shea butter shampoo and rubbing baby lotion on her hind end (where she it itching the most) what can i do to make her more comfy?
